Android users can now enjoy the Microsoft office in the newest dark mode. It’s been a year for the Microsoft Office app to get incorporated in iOS and Android. However, the dark mode theme was only available for iOS devices until now.

The product manager of Microsoft, Sourabh Nagpal states that the dark mode feature has been high in demand by the customers. The Dark theme for their Office app lets them work comfortably and have a soothing visual experience to read and work on their devices.

The users on downloading Microsoft Office app on their Android mobiles will automatically get the app with the dark mode enabled, if it’s set as a system preference for the device. The dark mode can also be enabled by switching on the toggle button available on the home tab in the Office app. The Microsoft Office dark mode will be available to be downloaded on Android devices in the upcoming weeks, therefore there may be a delay in the rolling out process for some of the customers, possibly due to the country-wise dispersion of the app.

The Android users can make use of the Microsoft Office app to access Word, Excel, and Powerpoint on a single page. The other tasks users can do using the app include scanning the PDFs, capturing the tests on the white boards, and tables transforming them into their digital versions. The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store for Android devices. If you already have the app, update it further to get the latest features added to the app.
